As we move along the expedition there are moments where we suddenly find that a fellow adventurer is no longer beside us. Last night my world was shaken as I found out that my youth minister had just passed away. Mark was leading a mission trip in Mexico when he drowned swimming in the ocean with some of the college students who were with him. Mark was by far one of the best men that I have ever known and the best youth minister that I have ever seen. He has impacted and changed innumerable lives and those of us who were changed by him continue his ministry and mission. I know that I would not be the man and minister that I am without him as a mentor. Please keep his wife and daughter in your prayers as well as all those who were with him on the trip. I know that his desire is to see the expedition continue. He truly lived the life of an adventurer. We never know the time, the place or the circumstance but I know that he was ready for the next great adventure. His journey makes me ask with all sincerity, What adventure is in your tomorrow??
